What To Expect At A Meeting

Going anywhere for the first time can be intimidating, so we want to let you know exactly what to expect at Friends Needing Friends.




Here is what you will experience when visiting our monthly meeting:
  • A casual, friendly and welcoming environment
  • A free complimentary beverage  
  • We open each meeting with a prayer and thanksgiving
  •  An inspirational and educational program with a fun theme
  •  A featured speaker (topics are varied)


FAQ's
How long is the meeting:
One-1/2 hr. From 10-11:30 am.
Do I have to pay for parking?
No. There is plenty of free parking.

What should I wear?
No need to dress up. Our meetings are casual so come as you are and expect to feel right at home.

What kind of program themes do you have?
In the past we have had Personal Spa Day, Mardi Gras, Hawaiian Christmas, Birthday Bash, Bingo and much more.  Check out some of our Chapter Pics.

What are the speaker topics?
We have had speakers discuss Health and Nutrition, Stress Relief, Goals, How to Nurture Yourself and the list goes on.  They have been doctors, fireman, pastors, therapists etc. Every topic helps us learn more about God's love and grace for this special sisterhood of widows.

Can I Bring A Friend?
Absolutely. Any widow is welcome.  Feel free to bring a female friend or relative (does not have to be a widow) to your first meeting.  We want you to feel totally comfortable.

How much does it cost?
Nothing. FNF is not a club you join. There are no dues.  The meeting and the Continental breakfast are free
